THE BETRAYAL
BY
APURVA SANJAY MALEWAR
One of the most profound and unusual emotions – Betrayal, Which is heart breaking and a feeling so strong, it makes one madly insane.
The mere fact that one is being betrayed, in spite of all the trust and love that was given, is so immensely hurtful, that it’s a feeling that can kill.
Is the lack of mutual respect one has for the other person. It’s all about being selfish; people who betray are those who suffer from a cancer called insecurity. They are people who could not care less, but just themselves and unless their needs are met, they are never satisfied. Bitterness prevails over their frugal feelings that exist, floating like a cloud, that cover the emotions beneath it. The plight of terrible suffering the one who gets betrayed is beyond comprehension; mere words will not quantify what they go through. The letters that I pen down will maybe, just say just a minuscule of what is endured by the noble who go through the feeling of being betrayed.
The feeling is confusing, as one has to first sink in the fact that they have been betrayed. Betrayal can be endured in various ways. Yes! there is immense anger, rage, resentment, but very less can be done. It is only they who are not revengeful and filled with vengeance that survives, and you know why? Because being revengeful can only cause immense harm to us.
Revenge gives us temporary satisfaction, which is like an addictive drug, an addiction that say, cause more pain than that was given. It’s hard to overcome that feeling when one is betrayed, the feeling liners on like a leech, and takes ages to fade away. We get betrayed, we inflict pain, and we revolve around the vicious circle of hate. This eats us away from the inside killing who we actually were and transforming us into this horrifying monster that would just want to go on a crazy rampage, inflicting pain and misery.
This again turns out to be an addiction, we get so hurt by the ones who betray, we drive ourselves insane and we want to inflict more and more pain, until the last drop of blood is not enough. Yes we hate it, but we do it.
We do it to the ones we love, the friends and maybe family. This feeling of revenge isn't the answer, as far as I have seen, yes I do inflict pain, but its in moderation, I let the other person realize what a sore loser he/she is and such people are cursed to be burnt in the realms of hell. The will never be happy, not because they are happy, but the feeling of insecurity and yes, the truth will come out one day.
This day in their lives will be the day of reckoning, the day they will realize what they lost and they will realize that they have been living the life of a lie. As they say what goes around comes around, and that’s the sole truth. For those who know it, they have seen it, experienced it, and that’s the way it is. The vicious circle of life.
This day would be the day we would have the last laugh, but by then would it really matter? Hell no!!! Because such trivial issues are not for our concern, and un- necessary aggravation is not our cup of tea, we will lead our lives as it were, and for those who betrayed. they will suffer, because they know what they did. The truth lies beneath their cursed souls.
Guilt will burn their conscious, eat away their happiness, insecurity will kill their peace of mind, and they will rot in their minds. That’s how I feel about people who betrayed us.
For such people, life is just about what they need, as long as their needs are satisfied, they would never care enough about other people. That's how they are, it's just them.
They will suffer for their deeds, and that's the bottom line.
Transformation, and repent, for their actions will only give them peace, and that is something very few people would realize. But everyone repents, they all will repent at one point or the other, the other thing is that, they would never be happy.
The will need to be sanctified, and they will need their souls to be clean, their conscious to be clear - to repent, they will have to ask for forgiveness and face the truth, do they have the strength to do that, if they do, yes! I would forgive them, or the revenge would not stand as it's already there, the damage they do to themselves, that is in itself a grave punishment.
God bless their souls, May they be saved from burning in hell!!!
